The IMM Council would like to express its sincere gratitude to all members for their continuing support and effort to promote and fulfil the objectives of IMM.

By order of the Council
Prof. Ts. Dr. Melissa Chan Chin Han
Honorary Secretary
20th May 2022

Reasons for the amendments:

1)  Amendment of IMM Constitution on the provisions relating to non-citizens (membership and election to Council) and for the editorial revision on the cross-referenced clause numbers.
The amendments are required to rectify the wrong reference of the clause numbers quoted in the previously amended Constitution. These editorial corrections are necessary so that the content in some of the clauses are cross-referenced to the right provisions in the Constitution. In addition, the amendments to Clauses 5.1.5 and 6.2.1 relating to citizenship of the Council members are essential to ensure there is no contradiction and enables easy interpretation. Also, this is to provide consistent information for members and for the Registry of Societies (ROS) in processing the registration of non-citizens as Council Members. Besides, the appointment of the Authorized Event Organizer (A.E.O) shall not be exclusive.
